Testimonies

William A. Kirlew Junior Academy (Miami, Florida) - We had an amazing experience with the students of WAKJA from November 2-7!  We learned so much during our week of prayer, and you can see the visible changes that the Gospel of Jesus is making in their lives.  Nearly every student renewed their commitment to follow Christ.  There were several baptisms this past Sabbath during WAKJA Day at Maranatha SDA Church and more to come this week!  We thank the entire team at WAKJA, Principal Hermine Thompson, and all of the precious students who are new creatures through Christ Jesus!

James Dotson (Silver Spring, Maryland) - In his own words:As always, your prayers are dearly needed and appreciated. I would especially appreciate your prayers that God will:

• Direct all of my feelings, thoughts, decisions and actions this final week as I prepare for surgery and recovery;
• Direct all of the feelings, thoughts, decisions and actions of all of the personnel who will be involved in my care prior to, during and after my surgery, especially the anesthesiologist(s) and my two surgeons – Dr. Walter Jean (Neurosurgery) and Dr. Timothy DeKlotz (Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery) – to ensure that my surgery, recovery and all related care are 100% successful according to God’s will and what God knows is right and best;
• Ensure that I obtain all the necessary approvals and complete insurance coverage for the surgery, recovery and all related care;
• Handle all of my business and personal affairs during my surgery and recovery according to what he knows is right and best; and
• Continue to serve as Priest, Protector and Provider (spiritually, physically, socially and mentally) for my mother, especially during the time of my surgery and recovery.
